With interest rates falling and a more positive sentiment about investing in equities WES with a fully franked yield of 4.40% is on the up and up.
Remember we have lots of retired people out there that are looking for a better rate of interest than what cash investments currently give them. WES by owning Coles and Bunnings 2 stores that most people now shop at must be a good choice for many of these people. WOW would be another one.
Agree some of the mid caps offer better yield and value but these people need something they can sleep at night owning.
