Bliss, not picking on you, but, let's go back to that last sentence of your 11:27 post of 15/01, when you said "it has only one little well".

Bliss, that is the whole issue. That "one little well" is probably the MOTHER of ALL wells drilled so far in the 40+ year history of the Cooper Basin! It is a massive project.

The well is being operated by Beach Energy and we have all been told by both Beach and Icon what they are doing and when we can expect further reports.

We are talking huge engineering and geological processes here, with, possibly company making repercussions and there is absolutely no NEED for either company to come out with anything "interim", OTHER than if something stuffs up. NO news is GREAT "news" until the time is right for us to be told the outcome of the current fracking programme. SOON.

And as for the other things that concerned you, NO, BPT will not control ICN's gas. ICN OWNS 40% of all the gas that is found in 855 and can do what it likes with it. Hopefully, enough to fill that GSA.
Let's just hope that we get no "interim" news, which can only be bad, and that the outcome, when announced, will live up to everyone's expectations. RELAX.
