Bilbo's Dad may not remember the terrible time small business had under Menzies in the '60s. I was safely getting my fortnightly pay in the services, but a couple of my mates had rellies in biz and they did it tough.

I have since spent most of my time in small biz and voted labor all that time so liberal mustn't have had much to offer.

Howard lost his seat and the libs lost gov so no point in talking about him. The lib and lab parties we have today bear no resemblance to ones that existed pre '07 so pondering history is an academic exercise only.
