Is it free fuel for the rest of your life or for the life of the car? The title reads differently to the text.
It really should read "for the life of the battery pack" as it may not be worth replacing them when they die, as they all will. I read a report last year that in the event of allowing them to become discharged they are destroyed and a replacement pack fitted was $40k.Perhaps it's cheaper now(it would want to be). I dunno how cheap it will work out to be overall with those sort of prices having to be factored into every kilometer.
