Telstra is public infrastructure and should be owned and operated at cost by the democratic government of the people... it is or was a critical core network, a natural monopoly and people just want clear, unambiguous customer value across the country.
Personally i feel it will not be sold by the next election and will become a major issue by an increasing number of people who never wanted it sold off to become a private monopoly.
