sold my house...

Well, I just sold my house, I had it on the internet site realestate.com.au for only a couple of days when I had calls from people to inspect.

Not a bad area, 10k's north of Brisbane CBD and no it wasn't a cheapy, 3 bed 2.5 bath, pool etc sold it for well over $600k. Admittedly I did discount by 2% off the initial asking price to seal the deal, but I factored that in when I priced it so got what I wanted.

Private sale, no agents commission to pay, saved close on $20k.

No issues up here with selling a good house, if it's crap and needs work yes you may struggle and have to offer massive discounts to get a buyer. Same as always...

Moving into one of the investment properties for a while now. I'll be looking for more investment property...
