@Leeman: that is VERY interesting news. And absolutely relevant to the whole SMSL issue. That is the start of other major investments doing an about-face and stopping any consideration of investing in Malaysia. I'm sure the whole shifting goalposts thing, and the endless dithering by the AELB, MOSTI, and Najib have been the main factors in this decision.
This needs to be spread far and wide. It needs to hit the headlines in Malaysia and it needs to be linked to the whole anti-Lynas nonsense. Malaysia will end up as a single industry state with Petronas (and maybe Proton cars) as the only industries, and no foreign investment at all....
The politicians - ALL parties - should be panicking at this news..! 75 BILLION Ringett is a HUGE amount of money - and that was just the initial investment.
