It is not the owning or not owning of guns that is the question, that is only a furphy and obscures the true question which is registration of the people and the guns, the type of guns on the open market and the general regulation that all other types of activities require in our civilized society
So forget about the ownership because there are enough guns in private hands in the USA to run a small invasion and you will never remove them all from their owners so don't waste time of spurious augments.
