France relies more than any other European country on nuclear energy.
More than 70% of uranium needed to run their reactors comes direct from Mali mines. Their economy depends on those supplies keep on coming.
That is the real reason why they have put "boots on the ground".
France is in there for the long haul.
Syama is far away from where the action is, cant see anything else but business as usual.
The government needs now more than ever before the revenue coming from Syama.
