    well chocko it doesnt really surprise anyone that this is your typical redneck [it aint happening] attitude,so go ahead and read the science if you are capable,lol.
    Nice one speck , enjoyed your mirth , i have oftened personally grappled with the issue why the hottest days fall in summer and coldest in winter . I have since discovered that this is the way it has always been . Apparently bushfires are more prevalent during summer as well !!!

    To my surprise i also discovered that bushfires have been happening for at least since 1788 ... and floods ... well , who knows . maybe 1788 again - all created by man - even before the industrial revolution
