Dr Niman's interview on the current serious influenza situation in the US is worth listening to.
Relenza gets a brief mention.

From my perspective anti-virals should be widely used with Relenza suitable for inhalation by older children and the elderly (two susceptible groups to this H3N2 strain).

Intravenous Relenza was reputedly very successful in treating critically ill patients during the Swine Flu pandemic.

Treatment of very young children is usually with a pediatric solution of Tamiflu but apparently this is currently in very short supply.

The US Govt has stockpiles of antivirals including Relenza that could be released for use by the general public.
