Please re-read your own post and then explain to me what you think Tony Abbott has to offer us; other than replacing Julia Gillard with HIM?
Abbott has NO economic credibility whatsoever; he merely calls to mainstream Australians to "Trust ME!"; as he did on 2010 when he was caught out later with that $11b black hole and NO real strategic plan at all.
As a disciple of BF Santamaria, Abbott may even out-welfare Labor at the expense of a more productive Australia. That's something akin to reactionary socialism.
Abbott's attitude to public versus private education would result in the development of social enclaves and the social divisions of the kind we associate with disfunctional and crime-ravaged communities overseas.
Our political system is archaic, fundamentally flawed and fraudulent but neither Gillard nor Abbott is proposoing to engage mainstream Australians in the process of replacing it.
Meantime Abbott is denying us the opportunity of leadership from the peoples' choice; Malcolm Turnbull!
Please demonstrate with other than just opinion how my perceptions are wide of the mark.
