I certainly agree with your logic about CDP as far as company is on the record as saying they are still striving towards retaining ALL leases and that the dilution was required to do so.
But I'm not sure all the legal issues just go away. It just doesn't seem in the spirit of the law imo. We're all assuming these are nuisance claims. But instead, let's take the view they are genuine claims. Does it seem fair that they expire on March 31st?
Also in retaining ALL leases, wouldn't it be considered an extension or renewal of lease. Not an expiry? Would the legal claims still continue? I don't know. Just doesn't seem fair and seems like too many ways for operators to screw people over by using $2 shelf companies or certain tactics.
