You need to get out there and see how much single mothers are given AND how they spend it! I have a close relation who to my dismay is a single mother, I know exactly what they get and it's far more than necessary to survive. It is enough to fund a lifestyle and that is wrong IMO.
Do you think they should be given enough to afford to be able to go out for coffee each day while their kids are at school and enjoy interstate holidays at least annually? I don't!
