A report from yesterday was that - The Mongolians have spit the dummy and closed up shop stopping exports of coking coal to China.

Reason - The suspension is that Mongolia wants to raise coking coal export prices for China

From levels above $300 a tonne in the first half of 2011 coking coal prices have steadily declined to the $160 a tonne level it is trading at today.they are looking to Jack price back up , then reopen doors.

We have seen a number of mines shut up shop or slow off production due to the drop off in Iron ore and coking coal. Coking coal did hit the $330
Per tonne back in 2010

There's a link to a report from a couple of years back when ECT ran some test of Mongolian brown coal using MATMOR... Those tests went very well indeed.

There is a a table at the base of the report which will give you an idea
of the potential savings using MATMOR. Basically MATMOR can be used to produce Iron at prices that would cause current mining companies to lock their gates...

Mongolia have billions of tonnes of sub-bituminous coal and low grade iron ore deposits.....The quality coking coal is massive business to Mongolia but they are finding current prices unbearable.

I'd imagine some of the big steel Manufactures are well aware of MATMOR.....its been tried and tested using other BCE tech products..... None of which could produce anywhere as efficiently as when used with Coldry ...
