As a mark of respect to posters such as yourself I listened hard to that interview and then listened again. I'm sorry mate, but Tony Abbott just doesn't do it for me.

Julia Gillard's interviews and speeches have never cut the mustard with mainstream Australians; but nor do those of Tony Abbott.

Gillard has a much sharper tongue, she is way better informed and across detail far more than Abbott. But she comes across as condescending and the damage inflicted by those broken election always leaves people wondering about where she's really going.

We deserve better choices than those on offer from our self-serving MPs.
