"No news is Good news" - so they say.
If a delay is being concocted by H/L a T/H will be announced before the end of the week. Probably after COB on Friday. For this reasons the SP tracking down due to increased uncertainty.
If no T/H, a termsheet will be delivered with as little available time for any interested party to consider- Although! if there is another interested party out there, they would have completed D/D by now and in the waiting.
Personally, I think the ducks are in a row (all to be blasted if a T/H is announced in next 2 days)and H/L is intent on completing deal by end of Feb, as advocated in Chinese news media. (Must save face or they'll become a joke in their own country).

If I'm right and the Chinese is playing this in a fashion which they've learnt over time - well good on them, let them do their business in their way. I don't necessarily need to agree to their ways of doing business so I'LL now cast my 1.5 votes accordingly.
