My thoughts exactly buyitlow. It's almost certainly just good governance. They've done it before. It spooks holders a little but ensures a level playing field. We don't actually exactly know how profitable the mine is going to be, so it's not like the news could be bad or good. It's just news.

If the price suddenly spiked because information leaked out of Glencore that the mine was more profitable than first thought, then BTR would have tell the ASX "we sort of had information that was price sensitive but couldn't release it". That doesn't look good.

No, I like people who are cautious with my money. My bet is the news is not earth shattering. That will come later :)
