One other thing that has come to mind is a while ago some posters of the negative persuasion were rambling on about moisture content just to clarify things the finished product can be as fine as talcum powder so it makes sense to transport it as a paste . If not can you imagine the contamination worries with a fine black dust especially in ports like Geralton being a wheat export centre.
