HC is public...I dont think Tony would want anything negative to be said that could be used against the company moving forward.
It may also have been on the cards that certain conditions were not going to be met by WEG and hence they were not going to be able to accept the 50% of Cockatoo.
Where then is the benefit of recomending a NO vote when you can still come out squeeky clean and still get your preferred outcome.
Im just saying, Im sure the writing was on the wall of this outcome to those on the inside (ie management). Was it luck or a well timed plan A.1 that $17.2m of presales was timed to be announced at the same time as WEG didnt get their 50%?
