    GA,

    Appreciate the post.

For starters, SIR and SFR are probably two of the worst examples you could have used. Both have held on to the majority of their spectacular gains and, in particular, SFR has established itself as a respected player in the field and has consistently been a billion dollar plus company. In short, you are shooting yourself in the foot using these two companies to illustrate the point you are trying to make.

"I agree, btw, with many of your points apart from your conclusion which seems to be that AVB management is atypically worse than many speculative mining explorers. But for some posters to go on and on and on about how 'poor' mgt are without providing this wider context is incorrect IMO"

You have stated specifically that AVB's management are on a par with many in the sector. You are also effectively saying that the sp of those in the spec end usually peters out. The inescapable conclusion for me then is that, since AVB's management are no better than the rest, there is every reason to believe AVB's sp will follow the others.....This is hardly encouraging wouldn't you say?

You talk about certain things HGZ, Agua Boa, Serre Verde, lack of funding etc as being " frustraing". A delayed drill result is frustrating...these go way beyond frustrating....they are unexplained fundamental shifts in the company's previously stated plans and go to the very future viability of the company. If they can continuously deviate from stated plans, what leads you to believe they won't in the future?

"as doing what they have done in the teeth of the GFC is a credit to them."

Let the GFC go...it was in 2008...there are hundreds of companies that also went through the GFC and have thrived since

I will keep going back to Ajostu's post because, IMO, he summed it up in one sentence....They are making it up as they go along
