    surely it is simply that the mkt is not gold friendly at the moment. Newcrest off another 1% today....most resources stocks being hammered, but Resmed, Telstra etc all rising quite nicely. The mkt is sticking with high yield low risk stocks, tentatively moving into retail and manufacturers, and it just isn't interested in metals stocks at all....
