I'd be very very surprised if folks in the industry [CSG/CBM/Shale] weren't well aware of what was happening in, and the likely prospectivity of, the Linc land in the Ackaringa for some time. so very hard to think Mather and Bizzell et al weren't expecting this.

for those of us lucky enough to take up rights [which Mather and Bizzell underwrote, and was very dilutionary for those who didn't] that was them getting themselves set. but, if the tenements was/is super prospective, where was the "friends and family" buying afterwards

we only spiked after the LNC headlines so,
while I'm very grateful,
and I don't think Mather and Bizzell just 'got lucky',
and it's hard to see much of downside,
it feels more like fast-money rather than big-money

flick it = $3-8m[?] staged payments to fund Nevada/Utah gold prospects
JV = free carry over the next 2yrs from a $10m mkt cap, lots of opportunity for lots of anticipation
fund it = raise $2-3m maybe ~3c and rebrand/refocus the company

they have said on many occasions that the shale is non-core and was opportunistic, so imo, you'll know if they say 'fund it' it's a big change, they'll likely be a big push, and it's an easy 12mth growth story.
