Ignorant or stupid, hard to fathom that a Council plants gum trees. They are notorious for falling branches during high winds and storms.

On another note, we on the Northern Beaches of Sydney have so far had a much needed 4 inches of steady, gentle rain. The media says that the "worst" will come at dawn tomorrow. Time will tell I guess.

There was a fire in a local National Park last week, so at least with the rain, the wildlife can breathe a sigh of relief.
