Bbender, human induced climate change is overlayed on the ice age / interglacial pattern. Ice ages happen every 100 thousand years or so, human induced climate change is happening now. You can sit around waiting thousands of years for the next ice age if you like, but we are probably going to see 4 to 6 degrees temperature rise in the next century or so, well before then, so the next ice age will be a moot point for us.
