Tim's joke was neither funny or racist or sexist or misogynist but it was STUPID, given the redefinitions Gillard and co have made of these previously well-understood terms. Gillard is a massive hypocrite. That's the point.
Tim seems to be a profoundly stupid man and the look Gillard gave him at the time suggests that, soon after the election, he will go the way of Blewett, Wilson, Rudd, Fitzgibbon, and Crossin. Yet another dispensible person. However, he's probably too stupid to realise it. Ignorance is bliss! Carry on as usual, Tim.
