    In WA desal plants are a vital part of Perth water supply and there is no critsicm. There has been a persistent, if somewhat erratic at times, decrease in rainfall since about 1980. However it would be nice if they could supply this desal to all the houses. It may surprise some in the East but I live in the Perth Metropolitan area but have no town water, we have to rely on rainwater tanks and bores.
