We even have one contributor here who says he will vote Liberal because he is a taxpayer while all those on welfare vote Labor. Strange logic considering the last Liberal federal government was the highest taxing and biggest welfare payer in Australia's history. Then there was another poster whose "research" could not uncover why my statement that double dissolutions favour smaller parties is correct. Fortunately another poster made a simple Wickipedia search and posted the information that supported my assertion. The truth is that many on welfare vote Liberal and many taxpayers vote Labor.
