If he does that then that means he does not trust the people he is asking to vote for him.
You Labor diehards have weird thinking logic. It doesn't mean this at all. It means there are better mechanisms for helping people with the costs of children's education than handing out fistfuls of dollars to parents. Surely you agree giving it to the schools so that they can subsidise costs for parents is more efficient and more likely to be successful? That's just common sense. We all know why Gillard chose to hand out cash, sucking in and bribing people like you.
