Great Announcement. The news that the deposit extends beyond the faultline will give everyone confidence as to the continuity and strenth of this discovery and also a better understanding of the areas geology. At present the nickel price is close to the bottom of its price cycle, once the world gets its act together ( and eventually it will) SIRs share price should be money in the bank for us all. For those that are not involved in the mining industry i will try and give a desciption of the nickel mines in Kambalda even though the geological setting is totally different from Nova.The initial discovery in 1966 was at Red Hill an old goldmining centre. This was named Silver Lake, being on the edge of Lake Lefroy. Mining commenced in 1967, from there the dicoveries fell like dominos, Durkin Shaft, Otter Decline Ect, until there were discoveries of multiple commercial deposits over a 150 plus square kilometre area and to this day more is being discovered. Given SIRs initial discovery is only months old the potential is blue sky, anything is possible.
