I know that the answer is obvious but I will still ask it. Why do the Liberals continue to attempt to weave a connection between the alleged rorts which are said to have been committed in the union movement and the Labor Government?

Look, a blind fly up with a hammer up its rear end can see that the Labor Government has nothing whatsoever to do with what is supposed to have "happened." Likewise that same fly would be astute enough to latch onto the fact that the Liberals are playing politics with all this. Perhaps the fly may not realize why the Liberals have adopted the strategy that they have, but others, all and sundry, will have established the link between the old Born To Rule syndrome and the sheer feverishness of the liberals over the matter. Nothing new here, we saw it in 1973, 1975, with utegate etc etc and etc. They just can't/won't accept the people's verdict when they lose an election.

The Liberals are playing a very dangerous game at the moment. There are some voters who have woken to the fact that there is a con game going and the remainder will join these in recognition in quick time. There is a real danger for the Liberals that there will be a very big kick back coming up up if they do not get their act together and stop playing nasty political games.
