these days, watso goes to "first choice" and buys 2 litres of invalid port for $10... for that price, watso cannot be bothered growing the grapes to try and make it cheaper... indeed, watso would not even bother buying the grapes, and try to make his own.

anyway, it appears that stills are pretty easy to operate. in russia, at some point in time, they tried to ban home made stills - but so many people had them - even old grandmothers (babushkas) would have a still - and a bubushka with a still, would make vodka, with which to exchange some labour, from a man needing a bit of vodka
