Not too sure if anyone has read a report compiled back in 1987 by G.Uwadiale and R.J Whewell titled "Effect of Temperature on Magnetizing Reduction of Agbaja Iron Ore".

Their conclusion was that fine-grained oolitic Agbaja iron ore, which was not responsive to conventional processing techniques, can be upgraded by the magnetizing reduction method with Fe recovery of 87.3 pct and FE assay of 60 pct at 600 degrees celcius.

They also made mentioned of the phospherous and that it could be eliminated through lime injection as this would combine with the phospherous and produce a calcium silico phosphate complex, which becomes part of the steelmaking slag.

I think that this one needs time and with it there will be a few bumps in the road along the way. I am not a mining expert (mech. eng.) and will therefore place my faith in a person who has over 50 years experience and a proven track record in the iron ore industry. The true Ironman.
