Here's another band with a humourous undertone. First made famous by the Sydney DJ Doug Mulray, The Fargone Beauties (say that quickly) are a thrash bluegrass (redneck) band that performed classic rock songs in their style. Kurnell is a suburb south of Sydney, I once played in an indoor cricket team called Far Kurnell :-)
