For me, the fruit juice is the scary thing - the thing commonsense might say is good for us (I'm talking the 100% pure juice that you can buy with NO added sugar). There are still plenty of natural sugars.

    ORANGE JUICE
One glass has 16g of sugar.
    = 4 teaspoons of sugar.

    CRANBERRY JUICE
One glass has 23.2g of sugar.
    = 6 teaspoons of sugar.

    APPLE JUICE
One glass has 20.8g of sugar.
    = 5 teaspoons of sugar.

    FRUIT & VEGETABLE JUICE
One glass of Fruit and Veg Tropical has 18.6 g of sugars.
    = 4.5 teaspoons of sugar.

Think of., for example, how many oranges are required to make a glass of orange juice, or similarly apples to apples juice. If you have say, 2 glasses of apple juice per day, it does not sound bad at all, but 6-8 apples per day does not sound right.

    Fructose is a big problem.

My doctor got me off fruit juice about 4 years ago and the rest of the family, have just finally weaned themselves off.

Its water all the way for me - fluoride or no fluoride...much better than fruit juice. Still eat fruit though.
