re: Ann: $58m Funding to Completion of Feasib... PEK did themselves in by releasing a process flow that seems to be more complex than Lynas, although with much cheaper acid.
If they had been able to come in as the were originally "hinting" with a dilute acid DAL and an opex 40-50% cheaper than Lynas there would have been some real interest.
Although hard to know what the real figures are as reagent costs probably include some 1000km of transport (build a railway anyone???) and I think they targeted 8k of production which probably doesnt allow good economies of scale to kick in.
IMHO NTU are raising this cash prematurely. And why the hell do we need $58M for a PFS anyway. JORC 2-3M tonnes (20kt REO) and work from there.
This all comes down to whether CY is a PRC stooge or not.
If he is not then this isn't too bad (but not great).
