"That's because they know if Gillard fronts up to the next election who's going to believe a word she says? Gillard's a goner and Roxon and Evans are getting out while the going is good. So will Swan and most of the others when Rudd's back and hungry for blood. Most likely, we end up with the fox in the hen house, the kat among the pigeons and the greens in the stew with the leftovers."

This comment that "Roxon and Evans are getting out while the going is good." Makes one wonder if their resignations is a signal of an early election?

Looking at it closely. there is no reason to "pull up stumps" at this particular time.
They could have easily left prior to the election on Sept.14th but have decided against that.(considering they would probably not win the election.)

So it is either that they do not want to campaign against hostile voters, or something is going on in the background.
Or is it, that they were not advised of the election date?

The "daily cartoon" posted today may actually sum up the problem. Julia is saying "they want to take over".
Actually what it is saying is "Julia you will not work as a team".
Or has Julia "lost it"? She is doing exactly what she said Kevin Rudd had done before "she knifed him".

If one considers Julia's current disposition, and all the current happenings, then logic points to her being dethroned within 2 weeks. Or following another bad polling result. This Labor bubble has to burst shortly.

Surely this won't go on for seven months!!
