I'm not sure I fully agree with your quotes.

I think after 18 months, Hanlong have proved NOT to be credible, viable or bankable. They have no money to purchase SDL by themselves & the CDB will not give them any money until an SOE decides to partner up according to the latest information. Without an SOE partner, Hanlong are never going to complete the transaction. I don't think that there is any denying that.
According to SDL ASX announcements 18 months ago, we were negotiating with China SOE's, but Hanlong took an opportunity to derail these & our Board readily agreed to a No Shop Clause. I think that all current shareholders want to know why the Board agreed to that. 18 months of crap & unfullfilled promises.

I understand that SDL have limited options now, but as you say, GJ & GC are supposed to be at the top of the tree, it's difficult to understand why they initially agreed to the takeover other than to help get the conventions & permits. Now that they keep rolling over to support the Hanlong bid with it's ever extending timeline, it's no wonder that most shareholders are bitching.
How things have changed since the initial bid was reduced from 57c to 45c. Most detested the price reduction, over time most just wanted the 45c due to frustration, now the 45c seems irrelevant, most just want out & cash the cheque, but we are no more certain now than we were 18 months ago that the cheque is even coming now until an SOE gets on board. Hanlong have been full of cheap promises & most shareholders are over them & the SDL Board.

There is still no certainty that this will be resolved in June 2013.
I wish we had never heard of Hanlong because this has been an absolute sham from day 1.
