Dont hold yr breath for the nxt one yet, its the one after that, which matters more (barring any further cyclones etc).

As Z#1 is 10kms SW of Kr1, they should drill another 700m apprx to the nxt casing point, ie run 7" csg & expect a 'drill-break' frm the Jurassic thereafter. Entirely upto COP, if they want to core the rsrvoir (why not).

Kr1: 9" @ 4097m, 7" csg @ 4779m, TD: 5329m
Drill Break @ 4998m,
Core Plover frm 5018-5055m,
DST: 4999-5052m (26 MMcfd).

Use the above as a guide for Z#1.

Thing with step out wells is, should they hit the GWC early then the operator knows straight away that the extent of the Plvr gas reservoir is updip (ie towards Kronos).

But then again, I'll dispute my own theory 'coz we r stuck in a 'separate faulted block' so the likelihood of the GWC coming in deeper is always there & the sands could b worth coring & flowing. And so we wait for say week-3 in Feb.

Not sure abt that bloomberg article on PRE, just remember we got a free drill at 'roo-1 (ie $70mil/well farmin deal).

Do chk PRE's January preso, shows $90m for this qtr (which includes costs for chook). So, am not sure how the deal works for a followup 'roo-2 well. Open for views.
