Want to keep the home we have in FNQ and plan to rent it out. Have a mate that's an agent, spending a few bucks on internal paint and carpet as soon as it's empty then she's available for rent. Worth $400k, owe $300k & in both names via a standard home loan. I make all payments.
I'll be making heaps but SWAMBO not so much. Where do I stand re the ATO, bank etc. What do I have to do here?
