Wouldn't be surprised. Also the 'sale' of 25% helped set the 'market' rate insofar as any closed dealings would go. Perhaps not a great price as many have alluded to but if there were any clauses or plans involving the bru holding, would be difficult for them to charge a higher rate. Guess is all depends on what machinations may be going on behind the scenes. Certainly if there was such an idea going forward obviously obl would so whatever possible to secure something at the lowest price. Speculation only but given big businesses work along similar mindsets, something to think about. The flip side is that the 25% was only worth the rate divested at - but that doesn't add up assuming previous announcements regarding majors being interested let alone the general tone surrounding the area. I don't think we've come close to seeing any end game so will wait and see what obl releases to the market in due course.
