ill have a shot at this one

"There has been 0.6 Celsius global warming since 1950. There are 5-7 times more polar bears today than there were in 1950. In what meaningful sense, then, are polar bears a species at imminent threat of extinction caused by global warming?"

The increase in population is probably related to hunting restrictions

"Concerns over the future survival of the species led to the development of national regulations on polar bear hunting, beginning in the mid-1950s"

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_bear#Hunting

it is only recently that bans and restrictions are being eased, due to the recovery of the species

to try and bizarely link this as proof that the effects of climate change are minimal is spin of the first kind and brings into doubt the methodolgy behind all of the other questions/statements.

zero cred and internet polution of the highest kind.

perhaps this internet polution should be taxed and the funds used for furthering our knowledge of this subject.
