well I think Bliss is simply completely wrong.
if halifax comes in with no gas (which it will not), then BPT will not lose its 40%.
what it has to do to earn its 40%, is to complete its obligations under the J/V Farmin Agreement, part of which is to drill and frac the well.
whether the well flows gas/oil or not is irrelevant, because no-one knows the otucome when you sign up for the drill!
what would happen is that BPT would end up having 40% of a dud well.
and, imho, Beach would be THE leading Unconv Aust explorer in Aust. The big boys of course would be more experienced I guess, but they are not Aust, and they have not drilled a thing in the C/B yet.
