This and the other many things you describe would not have been possible without relatively cheap, abundant, reliable grid power 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a week come rain or shine and a modern hydrocarbon-fuel based producion and delivery system...

You did not mention great projects like Snowy Mountains, but actually almost all the technological progress you mention over the last many decades would probably not have been possible if greenie groups had the same power a some decades ago as they have today...

These technological achievements were only possible due to the almost complete absence of disruptive, irresponsible, short-sighted luddite greenies...

Unreliable weather-dependent 15th century windmills and unreliable, weather dependent solar pv is not gonna cut it unless you plan to freeze in your cave in the dark or when it is raining or snowing, or even just cloudy...
