How can this dirge of a newspaper possibly continue under its misnamed heading of being a rationalist when it complains abut Howard making a declaration that he would never introduce a GST.But fails to mention that JH announced to the electorate, BEFORE the Federal election, that he would introduce such a tax.Surely everybody is allowed to change their mind, even pollies, but they must give notice of this change, especially in a matters of such importance to the electorate as the GST and the Carbon Tax.
JH gave such notice about the introduction of the GST BEFORE the Federal election. Julia did not do the same about the introduction of a Carbon Tax. Even worse she declared, BEFORE election, that such a tax would NOT be introduced.
And another irrational diatribe from this grossly misnamed rationalist newsaper when it complains about the dismantling of ATSIC, a sick and corrupt body if there ever was one.
