Firstly if there where no statements made and no witnesses then just because there insurance party says that you are the one in the wrong doesn't mean you are or that they can prove it.

Its only 2 grand!I'm telling you now the insurance company won't do a major investigation or take you to court so if it got down to your word against theres or your friends word against theres then the insurance company won't pursue it.

Don't let debt collectors scare you-they think they are above the law!THEY CAN NOT COLLECT ANYTHING UNLESS THE COURTS HAVE PROVEN YOU LIABLE OR THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN RESPONSIBILTY FOR IT!

If you are found ultimately liable(you owned up or they can prove it) well just stuff the insurance company around and in about 12-18 mths plead poor and offer them a $1000 to settle the deal-remember when there is a outstanding debt the insurance company are trying to recover the longer it goes on the more it cost them-they will settle for less then $2000.

    Cheers
