Campbell was well versed in the area and geology of Laverton and the potential of the tenements.He would certainly have been instrumental in pointing this out to his bosses and he would have been right to do so.
What he can not be deemed responsible for is the nightmare that lay within.
You have to remember that the Chairman and the ENTIRE Board
voted unanimously for the CRE deal having supposedly conducted due diligence on all legalities (which should have uncovered disputed ownership rights and royalty payments)and considering that alone cost over 3 million bucks it was a serious miscalculation culminating in everything going on hold and Apollo abandoned (possibly permanently).
No Kal,to make Baird some kind of scapegoat for this shambles is to exonerate the Corporate mistakes of the entire Board and that patently just will not do from where I am sat!
