Without getting into the debate about who is lying and who tells the truth it’s clearly is become a mess.
In my view Saddam is an evil dictator however he’s been a survivor. He’s killed many and created much mayhem but he continues to survive. Considering the risks he has faced over time compared to those that argue for his down fall or against you would have to wonder about his thoughts currently.
I imagine he is sitting comfortably in one of the Palaces getting a jolly good laugh at all the conflicting opinions.
The very last thing he would want to see is consensus.
