Let me know if I've misunderstood, but it looks like you're saying people are not delusional that the world might be alright if they fund research etc... but ignorant, because if they had the knowledge to realise the world is going to end no matter what, they wouldn't bother trying to fix it.

You're posts are always well-written, and in the past provided some alternative food-for-thought that I enjoyed reading... More and more they seem like trolling though.
