Nauv,
As far as I'm aware the only timelines given for the approval of UCG in QLD have been on HC.
It was bought up a few months ago off the back of Cougar entering into closed door negotiations with the QLD government, which seemed to spur on a host of assumptions that the government ‘itself’ was near to a resolution on the UCG policy for the state, but that's never been confirmed by Linc as far as I'm aware.
I've been over the last 9 months worth of Comsec Anns this morning looking for the references you say are there, this is all I can find:
"Finally, the Company continues to await formal feedback from the Queensland Government regarding its response to the State’s Independent Scientific Panel engaged to review UCG in Queensland."
That’s in the Sep ’12 quarterly, and it’s hardly a timeline.
I remember something in the BRR recording of the AGM where Adam Bond mentioned [and I’m paraphrasing by memory here] that “It would be remiss to exclude Queensland from the lost of opportunities in the plethora available to Linc for UCG” and that he expects that in time the development plan for land owned next to Chinchilla would eventually be submitted, but I can’t remember a timeline given.
I’m happy to be proven wrong.
In general, I thought the presentation this morning read well, and like biebs I was pleased with slide 32.
